I think there is a lot of our life that has been changed due to the pandemic.
And I’ve been fortunate enough not to have been infected.
That’s due in substantial part to staying close to the A/C at home. Before I was vaccinated, I didn’t hardly leave the HVAC security of our lake home at all. I would leave the A/C of lake home to get fresh air and exercise outside. And I would get up really early to be the first one inside the grocery store to avoid crowds. This was our life for more than a year. As it was for so several of us. And I think that this being at lake home so much really changed our perspective in a really large way. For one, I wasn’t going in to the zone controlled HVAC of the office everyday. This was something that I have never experienced before. And frankly, I really liked the fact that I got so much more labor done when working from lake home in our own A/C. I observed that I wasn’t as busy out and forever running behind while at lake home for that first year. And that led to myself and others paying a lot more attention to the stuff that really was substantial in our life. How I left our care for the HVAC equipment come after some superfluous thing on our list is something I’m still trying to sort out. But I think that in the past two years, I haven’t missed an HVAC air filter change. And I’ve also made sure the HVAC maintenance happened each fall and Spring.
