I would highly suggest if you have a lot of leaves and debris getting into your heating and cooling system, then you should get a HVAC cover. For a long time, I didn’t have an A/C cover, and because of that, I would have all kinds of things get stuck in their air conditioning unit. For the most part, a lot of it was harmless, but as it built up over time, it began to cause some issues. Or if a particularly big limb somehow managed to get stuck in the A/C machine, then it would cause the air conditioner to make a horrible noise. I usually would have to pay for a heating and air conditioning specialist to come out and clean the entire system out, and it just becomes a big hassle. So then I started looking into HVAC covers and I am so glad that I did. If you look online, there are many different types and sizes available. You have to find the right size for your air conditioning system, but there is one really important thing to consider. That is making sure the heating and cooling cover is breathable. If you get an A/C cover that is not breathable, it can actually suffocate your air conditioning system! I made sure the A/C cover that I bought was made from mesh and had plenty of ventilation. Ever since then, all I have to do now is blow off all of the leaves that pile on top, and the inside of the A/C remains clean.
