Winter was over in addition to my hubby in addition to I ventured out to the lake to see if there was any damage to our summer time cottage, then other than seeing an a/c unit with almost a foot of ice covering it, everything looked surprisingly good.
The wind that came off the lake, made for cool breezes while in the summer, however it wreaked havoc with the beach house while in the winter.
I thought both of us should try to chip some of the ice off the a/c unit, however my hubby told myself and others to wait. The A/C unit sat out in the weather all year long, in addition to she wasn’t sure both of us should bother with the ice. She thought it would be okay if both of us allowed the ice to melt naturally, but she wanted to check with the HVAC dealer. When she finally got through to someone, they asked how long both of us planned on staying at the chalet. The 1 HVAC specialist lived close to where both of us had our cottage, in addition to she said she would stop by on her way home. When the HVAC specialist stopped by, she said my hubby was right about not chipping the ice off. Every one of us could have done damage to the A/C unit if both of us were poking it with ice picks or knives. It was okay to let the ice melt naturally, in addition to other than a little extra cleaning, the a/c should be great when summer time arrived. I had a smart hubby, but she wasn’t an HVAC specialist. I was glad to hear the same thing come from the HVAC specialist, in addition to it made myself and others suppose more comfortable.
