So there were several things that I was sort of dreading when our partner and I finally decided to sell the house. The system of going through an adult lifetime worth of stuff was high on the list of the stuff I didn’t want to do. But with that came the fact that we’d be living in an apartment for a year after the people I was with and I sold the house. I was not looking forward to apartment living. The memories of neighbors sharing walls, unreasonable heating and cooling and cramped spaces didn’t help either. But first, the people I was with and I had a lot to do before the people I was with and I got to living in the apartment. I coordinated the Heating and A/C unit upgrade with the Heating and A/C company. They were relaxing to work with. The realtor advised that the people I was with and I go with some of the latest in Heating and A/C technology to entice prospective shoppers. So the Heating and A/C professionals were able to help myself and others get the latest in residential Heating and A/C without spending too much money. My partner diagnosed the family room upgrades and the people I was with and I did the rest together. All the packing and sorting was indeed as awful as I thought it would be. It’s taxing going from a big lake apartment to a two family room apartment. It was all the people I was with and I could do to get out of the apartment by the deadline. However, I will say that the apartment the people I was with and I ended up choosing was way better than what the people I was with and I had envisioned. For a single thing, the location had actually good quality heating and cooling. The Heating and A/C unit was relatively new and was of actually good quality. So that was undoubtedly a blessing.
