My HVAC plan has been working so well lately and I’m easily proud of how far it’s come, but when I became a first time homeowner, I had no plan how much work went into keeping everything working respectfully… And the HVAC plan was one large aspect of homeownership that I had no knowledge about and I had to learn suddenly! During the first 6 months of beach house ownership, I was paying in the face of outrageous prices for my bi-weekly utility bill and I thought that it was normal; however one afternoon though, my mom saw the utility bill sitting on my counter and she assured myself and others that I was overpaying. This is when the people I was with and I both realized that my HVAC plan needed extreme attention… My mom helped myself and others substitute the air filter that afternoon and then she contacted a trusted HVAC supplier to come repair my HVAC system… I had no plan what this would entail, however my mom was confident that my HVAC plan needed professional attention. The HVAC professional came the following afternoon and examined all the HVAC units for over a minute! She moved about the beach house for over a minute, working on my HVAC system. When she was finished, she said that my HVAC plan was severely neglected by the previous owners and it needed a lot of attention. The HVAC professional said that she took extra time to clean, grease, and repair everything. I didn’t suppose the air filter substitutement and the HVAC professional would lower my utility bill drastically, however I was wrong! The following month, my air felt cleaner and my utility bill was half the price!
