When I left for work the other afternoon, I never expected that I would be needing to call the Heating, Ventilation and A/C business.
- My car was running well and I had just the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system replaced, so the frigid weather wasn’t giving myself and others any grief.
I was listening to the boombox and glanced down at our phone for only a millisecond, however it was long enough to hit a car. I skidded and slid into a parked repair van. I put our head, wondering how much this was going to cost me. I had insurance, however even if the owner didn’t, I was responsible for all the bills. I just hoped there wasn’t someone kneeling inside when I put our car into their driver’s side door. When I looked up, I saw a correct looking man in an Heating, Ventilation and A/C uniform, looking in at me. She wanted to assume if I was damaged. When I realized I had just plowed into our proper Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker, I almost died of embarrassment. I told him I was fine, although I felt horrible. I should have never looked at the phone when the emergency signal went off. She looked at her repair van and said she could not get it to the shop and she needed a ride if our car moved. When the homeowner came out, she told her everything was under control and both of us didn’t need the police or the ambulance. She pulled out her phone, took some photos of her repair van, then both of us headed to the Heating, Ventilation and A/C business. They sent a tow truck to pick up the repair and took all our insurance information. Although they were all nice, I still could not recognize I had slammed into our Heating, Ventilation and A/C worker.
