I suppose that it’s happened to all of us at one time or another.
You let someone into your house, in addition to they steal from you. It could be a neighbor at a get-together, or a worker you hire to come in addition to perform a repair for you. This happened to myself and others just recently, in addition to I’m still dealing with it. It sincerely never occurred to myself and others that it was even possible to steal an a/c, even the smallest ones are quite dense in addition to heavy! The spare family room in my beach house used to be a one-car garage, in addition to when it was converted it still wasn’t affixed to the central Heating in addition to A/C system. Instead of adding new air ducts to the main system, I decided to buy a window-mounted unit for the room. It was many hundred dollars cheaper to get this kind of AC unit instead of remastering the air ducts. After this get-together the other night I went into the spare family room, in addition to saw that the a/c was no longer resting in the window! The AC unit had been unjammed from the inside, in addition to then unbolted from the outside, so whoever had taken it was someone at my get-together! That a/c cost myself and others many hundred bucks, in addition to I want it back!
