After college, I was lucky enough to get offered a job in my field.
- It required me to move across the country and live in the city.
I looked at all different apartment options. I should have probably chosen cheap accommodations. Instead, I picked a giant apartment complex with all sorts of wonderful amenities. I have a washer and dryer, granite countertops and stainless appliances. I have my own personal balcony and two full-sized bathrooms. Outside, there is a huge swimming pool where I can swim laps. There are sun loungers and a barbecue area with grills, an outdoor kitchen and tables and chairs. Inside the building, there is a gym just a few steps down the hall. I don’t need to pay for a gym membership because I have free access 24 hours per day. The gym is outfitted with the best fitness equipment, including treadmills, stationary bikes and ellipticals. There are all sorts of weight training options such as battle ropes, resistance bands, benches, dumbbells and kettlebells. There is plenty of space for me to stretch, jump rope and do lunges, squats and ab crunches. I love that someone always keeps the gym clean, the equipment well-maintained and a supply of free water bottles. I only planned to live at the apartment complex for a couple of years. Before I got a promotion, It was tough on my budget. However, I have been in the apartment complex for nearly eight years now. It’s just too convenient. I don’t want to give up all of the luxuries.
