I have a relaxed day today so I am going to just take it easy and then maybe go by the local business to look at the latest HVAC technology.
- We are in the market for a new thermostat for our unit and want to see if we can get it locally before going online to order one.
We have one of those old dial thermostats and are ready to finally put it to rest, but first we want to find a smart thermostat that will do the things we want it to do. I don’t think they cost that much but they would save us a lot of time spent fiddling around with the settings like we have been with this old thermostat. I think my dad put it in back in the 80s and it is high time we move on to a new one. He left us with some money and we want to spend it wisely so we are trying to do things around the house that will help improve our quality of life. My dad was an HVAC contractor for many years and left us with his company, which we ended up selling for a good amount, and we are so grateful for his help over the years. I even got a new puppy which I named after my dad; Johnny. I think we will bring Johnny to the local business later when we go take a look at those new thermostats. Johnny loves going for a ride in the car with the windows down and nature’s air conditioning vent blasting in his face.
