I’m not even sure why I thought both of us could just have our heat pump repaired. Both of us purchased this condo in the South about 2 years ago and this heat pump has been laboring fine. Of course, it was going on 20 years of age and it made sense that it would be about time for it to be upgraded. It was interesting though because it was truly energy efficient while it was laboring for us while both of us were in these past 2 years. I feel because of its energy efficiency, that’s what led myself and others to believe that it would last much longer. Well, when the Heating and Air Conditioning professional came out this time, he highly commanded having the heat pump upgraded. He said both of us could have it repaired if both of us wanted, however it was likely going to give us trouble and potentially cut down altogether with no hope of being repaired. I didn’t want to take the risk to be honest and our partner was on the same page. Both of us ended up getting a modern heat pump install which wasn’t too awful on the cost to be honest. Both of us were dealing with a family owned Heating and Air Conditioning supplier too, so these men didn’t seem love they would ever try to take luck of clients. The best news is that with official care and maintenance, this modern heat pump should last us another 20 years or more. I bet both of us will be moved into a odd home by that time, however it’s fantastic to think that our modern investment will last so long. Also, the energy bills are even lower than before, so I feel the new heat pumps are even more energy efficient.
