It was only going to be for 1 evening, but I honestly needed it.
I was in the middle of a long road trip.
I like to try plus push myself on how long I can drive, but I know our limits. After about 9 hours of sleeping, I was falling asleep at the wheel plus accidentally going off of the road. I took that as a sign that I needed to stop plus found a hotel in the section to stay. I inspected into the hotel no problem, plus almost instantaneously fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow. I fully expected to sleep until early day, however, when I awoke, it was still dark outside. I looked at the alarm clock plus it learn 4:00 am. It didn’t take me long to figure out why I woke up early, our room was incredibly hot! I had to throw off our cover, because I was already dripping with sweat through the sheets! I went down to the lobby to complain about the lack of air conditioning, plus they moved me into a room with a functioning air conditioning. After I made sure the A/C unit did in fact work, I went back to sleep plus woke up in the early day to get back on our long drive. I honestly l earned a lesson, plus that is to make sure the Heating plus Air Conditioning unit works before anything else, otherwise I might have to get up in the middle of the evening again. I ended up having to stay at another hotel later on, plus thankfully, I didn’t have any cooling issues there.
