My family didn’t want me to become an air conditioner specialist

In university, I was always the star student.

Always the a single with the highest grades, straight A’s.

It was always so straight-forward for me too, half of the time I didn’t even need to study. My parents saw the potential & had me put in advanced classes, & even those classes I thrived in. My parents & professors alike were impressed & told me that I was going to do wonderful things in life. I am sure in their heads they were thinking something along the lines of a doctor or astronaut or something like that. However, I knew from the beginning that I was not interested in any of that. I wanted to live a nice & easy life. I am a minimalist, & I legitimately don’t need much to keep me happy. So when I graduated high university & told our parents I was going to Heating and A/C university, they weren’t exactly happy… None of our family wanted me to become a Heating and A/C specialist, & they sure tried to pressure me to change our mind. But our mind was made up, I wanted a nice & straight-forwardgoing life, however just because I am smart doesn’t mean that I am obligated to loan our brain to the world. Besides, being good in university doesn’t always mean success in life. Anyways, despite our parent’s protests, I went to Heating and A/C university & graduated as a Heating and A/C specialist. I have been working as a heating & air conditioner specialist for a while now, & I am actually happy. This is exactly what I wanted.
