It is consistently bad when you have high hopes for a product, plus they just completely fail your expectations.
I had that recently with a portable Heating plus Air Conditioning unit. Occasionally in the summertime our living room can become entirely hot. I had a clear memory of turning it on. I went plus checked on it, plus it was off, but I couldn’t get it to turn on again. I ended up returning the portable Heating plus Air Conditioning because of this, plus then bought another 1. Thankfully I didn’t have any additional complications.
