My sister took me to a salon for my birthday, she said I was going to get the works, but I didn’t know what the works were, and i found out I was going to have my eyebrows done.
She had a full-body wax planned, a facial, Mani-Pedi, plus anything else we could come up with, when we got there, she signed in plus told them we were there for the works, plus provided them her name.
The lady smiled plus welcomed us, then took us back to a decreasing room. She provided us warmed robes plus handed us a glass of champagne to sip while waiting. I looked at my sister plus asked what the robes were for. She told me to strip plus put it on, but all of us had special slippers for our feet. I felt easily uncomfortable sitting in the salon with nothing but a robe to keep me covered. I had never had waxing done, plus I was anxious thinking about a full-body wax. I could only imagine all the pain that was going to go with it. My sister guaranteed me it would be worth the pain to see how much difference the waxing was going to make. The anesthetist provided me the option of a sugar wax or a usual tepid wax treatment. She told me my eyebrows could be done with a simple system called threading. The anesthetist put me at ease with my waxing, but I still didn’t like being naked in front of a complete stranger. I tried to tell my sister I wasn’t comfortable being completely naked with my husband, but she just laughed.
