Hoping to decrease leg cramps

I workout for around an hour each day.

The majority of our time is devoted to high intensity stuff.

I really prefer jumping rope and tend to jump 20 to 30 minutes a day. I use an app on our phone for guided workouts and some of the jumping sessions last the full hour. I also like to go for at least 2 mile runs. I do a lot of lunges, squats, burpees, mountain climbers and jumping jacks. Nearly every genre of exercise involves our legs. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started having some concerns with our legs, but while our calves ache throughout the afternoon, the pain gets much worse at night. As soon as I go to bed, our muscles begin to cramp. I’ve researched to figure out how to alleviate the pain. While rest is constantly recommended, I am unwilling to quit working out. I have made an effort to take days off from targeting our legs. I devote unique workouts to weight lifting, abdominal crunches and the rowing machine. I’ve also gotten better about our moderate up. I spend a lot more time loosening up our muscles and stretching our joints. I focus on stretching our legs. I also spend more time on the cool down at the end of the workout. I take turmeric and magnesium to help with the inflammation and drink a lot more water. I apply pain relieving creams to our legs three to four times per afternoon. I’ve found that heating pads are the most beneficial. At night, I wrap our calves in heating pads and this helps to lessen the pain.
