I work at a hardware store here in town and the air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems that we sell have been selling out really fast as of lately.
So we have been ordering more as they go so we are always stocked.
However, this time the order was late. People were coming in wanting to buy the air filters for their central heating and air conditioning system and we had to tell them the news that they were all sold out. This was not a good thing to have to do because the people would get mad. It was not our fault that the order for the restocking of the air filters was late. We tried telling the people to try back in a few days and we hoped that we would have the air filters back in stock then. Some took good to that suggestion and some were really rude saying they were just going to go elsewhere to buy air filters for their central heating and air conditioning system. Well, finally today the air filters arrived! We were able to restock the shelves and everyone was coming in just as per usual. So to those who were saying they were going to buy their air filters elsewhere, they were just blowing off steam obviously. Because a few of those people ended up coming in to buy the air filters for their central heating and air conditioning system as per normal. We hope that the next time we order the air filter restock that they are not late again!
