I won a complimentary gas furnace/heater tune-up from the draw

The local heating supplier was having a raffle ticket draw to raise money for charity and provide quality heating to the needy.

They announced the draw to the locals, who were all invited.

I made sure to attend because a single of the prizes was a complimentary heat pump service. My heating device was due for annual service, but I was broke. I had just bought another motorcar for the supplier and needed more money for repair. I have a lucky streak regarding draws, as I typically win something, no matter how small. The homeowner solutions supplier organizing the event had a hat filled with random numbers they would shuffle and choice the winning cards. Before starting the draw, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals took questions from the audience about maintaining the longevity and proper function of the heating equipment, including the electric gas furnace. A question I often see in such celebrations is whether a homeowner can install or run a gas furnace/heater tune-up independently. I have researched the same and discovered that if you are not a qualified Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker, you cannot do the process as it needs special device and knowledge. Another interesting question I heard was whether an old proposal could still provide quality indoor comfort. One of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C suppliers answered this by saying it could as long as it was well taken care of by frequent repair. When the questions were over, the heating supplier drew the ruffles, and I had the winning number. My dual fuel proposal would at least be maintained and for free! The experts were at my home the following month to run repair.
