Tonight the people I was with and I take the hour train ride into the larger neighborhood to do a set at a music open mic. This is basically our first music open mic as I was doing comedy for numerous years however have since switched to music. I’ve been drumming for a few years on as well as off, however now I’m taking it a bit more seriously as well as trying to make it a career. The people I was with and I will practice at this open mic as well as try out some of our outdated songs as well as maybe a few modern ones too. I suppose the local corporation which has the open mic is the same one I used to do comedy shows in, so at least the air conditioned arena is going to be the same, and maybe I’ll see some official faces there from afternoons of old, even though I won’t think till the people I was with and I arrive as it has been years since going to that city. I was toiling at a heating corp there years ago however then I moved to this smaller neighborhood where I live now to get away from all of the neighborhood noise as well as pollution.
