I was quite a curvy boy, and I could not fathom this uniform looking great on me.
I said as much and he laughed. He told me how they tailored the uniforms to custom fit each individual. He was positive I would look amazing in the HVAC serviceman’s uniform. I thanked him and walked away with a big smile on our face. After graduation, I signed up for HVAC courses at the local community college. After the first week, they passed out uniforms to us. We had to supply our measurements so they could provide a uniform that fit us, and I thought mine was going to fit perfectly. It surprised me to see that our uniform was too baggy in the legs and backside, but slim everywhere else. There was no way I could wear this uniform into class. The HVAC serviceman lied about the uniform looking great on anyone, because it looked terrible on me. I took it house and started doing some repairs. I had to rip the shirt to pieces to add some room and take the pants in. By the time I was done with all the fluctuations, our uniform was absolutely looking much better. There were two other people in class that had the same problem. We went to our house over the weekend where I altered their uniforms so all of us all looked great in our HVAC uniforms. We caused quite a stir with the other male HVAC students, which made our professor chuckle and call for order.
