Before I moved, I had a lot of trouble with the HVAC company.
They wouldn’t call me back, or they just wouldn’t answer the phone.
I was on hold for almost an hour before being hung up on, when I called because my air conditioning died. I didn’t like the HVAC company in our area, and I wasn’t the only one. When I moved, my only criteria was that the new house wouldn’t be in the same area this HVAC company covered. I wanted to work with someone who appreciated their customers. My new neighbor told me what HVAC company she used, so I called them. The HVAC technician who answered took my name, address and phone number. He said the secretary would call me back when she got in, but he didn’t see any reason they couldn’t take me on as a customer. Half an hour later, my phone was ringing. The receptionist thanked me for calling them and asked how she could help? I thanked her for calling me back and told her I had recently moved, and I wanted the HVAC system inspected. When she looked at the address, she said she knew the people who used to live there, and they were long-time customers. She asked when it would be convenient to have an HVAC technician come to the house? I knew I would never have problems with this HVAC company and I was already happy to be a part of their customer list. Two days after my initial call, the HVAC technician was at the house. He told me all about the HVAC system and gave me a copy of their service records to keep for myself.
