When our partner retired, he was worried what he would do with himself… He thought he would take some time to relax. He wanted to go fishing, on a hunting trip, and do some travelling with me. I slapped him when he put his fishing and hunting ahead of time with me, but he only laughed. He said he had so much to do, he guess he could bored if he lived another thirty years! Thirty years lasted exactly several months, 3 afternoons, fourteen hours, and six minutes. He sat in the residing room with his paper, looking at nothing, and I asked him if he was okay. He said he should be working and not resting around the house doing nothing. I asked him if he wanted to go back to the Heating and A/C business. He threw the paper and pulled myself and others over near him. He said he was fine, however just bored. I asked him if he wanted to work on his own. He could become a freelance Heating and A/C specialist and just service the people in the neighborhood. He wasn’t sure he would care about that either. I told him it had to be our Heating and A/C plan that is broken, or they had to be freezing to death; Everyone could survive a evening without A/C, unless it was his husbandy.
