How long it took to install a new A/C

My wife and I decided that it was time to replace our air conditioning system within our home. It has given us good air flow and excellent cooling for about 15 years now. However, just in the past year or so, it started showing signs of wear and tear. The HVAC technician warned us that he would have to come out more and more as time went on, as he could tell that the HVAC system was beginning to age in irreparable ways. We decided to head these expensive visits off at the pass. We inquired about installing a new heating and air conditioning system. We talked with the HVAC technician about how much it would cost and how long it would take. Thankfully, after looking at our options the HVAC technician informed us that we would not have to replace our ductwork with the particular model that we were looking at as a replacement. Because we did not have to redo our ductwork, the HVAC technician informed us that getting rid of the old air conditioning system and replacing it with the new one may very well take only 6 hours of work! My wife and I were quite happy that this new air conditioning system could be installed in a single day, possibly. We certainly did not want to go without air conditioning for long! We found a pretty good deal on a model that was considerably cheap, but nonetheless, quite efficient. All in all, this was a smart move to make.
