I have been thinking about getting a new temperature control… I currently own a dial temperature control that has a huge plastic toggle.
It is beige, rusted, as well as really old looking.
I am not a fan of it, and what is awful is that our hubby as well as I can’t study the numbers on it. I always am hunting for our glasses as well as trying to see what the hallway is set to, but our temperature control doesn’t allow any customized settings either, then you can do 60, 70, 80 or 90 degrees; There isn’t much wiggle room in between that! Crazy right? My hubby also happens to be the perfect height to bump that plastic toggle! He seems to always push the toggle upwards to 90. The condo is always getting heated. I then notice I am dripping with sweat to death as well as beginning feeling bad for our heater. The old temperature control is costing us money in the long haul. I have looked into smart temperature controls as well as that is just a better option for us, then my hubby as well as I then could control the heating as well as cooling from our iPhone. I could absolutely have a particular temperature rather than a range… Another pro is that the temperature control would learn our heating as well as cooling needs. I wouldn’t need to always hunt for our glasses to change things. The temperature control would learn what temperature I prefer at what time. I wouldn’t need to provide any input whatsoever. It also would tell myself and others about energy efficient settings to save money overtime. Another benefit is that I would get alerted on air filter variations as well as humidity levels too! Pretty neat right?
