I’m sort of amazed at how hot and toasty this house is this entire winter.
And it’s not because the climate suddenly changed; and in fact, I’d say that there have been deeper frigid snaps this year than last… However, yet here we are quite snuggly hot inside our home.
And that’s a change for us as this has never been the case; not only is it warmer but we have reduced the heating costs by upwards of 20 percent… That’s a remarkable savings when it comes to the expense of heating 1s home. And feel me, in this region heating a home is not anything inexpensive. All of this was due to myself and others entirely committing to winter time preparation. I’ve lived here long enough to know that a homeowner needs to prepare their home for winter. I have always gotten heating repairs done on the gas oil furnace. That’s where our winter time preparations came to a screeching halt, however beyond the heating repair from the heating and A/C professionals, I also entirely did nothing else prior to this fall. But something came over myself and others this year that was a mixture of pride and wanting to save currency. That combination of feelings got myself and others tied up and led myself and others to the heating and A/C business website. The website had a full checklist of what needed to be done in order to properly winterize the house; then sure enough, this worked even better than I ever could have imagined. I couldn’t hardly feel our eyes when I finally saw the first full utility bill of winter time last week. It’s stunning how much difference committing to winter time prep on the house has made.
