So this is our minute stab at dealing with an actually hard winter, and our first attempt was both full of suffering and rookie mistakes; however, that’s to be expected I believe given the change I’m experiencing, but I grew up in a region where the heat pump was pretty much silent all winter! There was hardly any need for heating in our home.
And winter was honestly the section of the year that my associate and I all looked forward to the most.
That was because my associate and I finally did not need a/c. But now that I’ve lived through the worst of a northern winter, I shall never complain about a/c again; like I said, this is our minute winter and I still have many more to go. I signed on for 5 years in this office when I took this job promotion. I’m glad I hadn’t visited the section during the winter or I wouldn’t have taken the job. But my associate and I all have to do things in order to get where my associate and I want to with our jobs. The fact that I have a space heating system under our desk at work should say something about our situation! My first winter up here I spent in another condo that was not at all prepared for the chilly winter. This locale did not even have another gas or oil furnace but rather a boiler in the basement. I got so little heating from that thing that I was always chilly. I didn’t even want to leave the office to go home. But now, I’m in our first home and I made sure that it came with another current and actually reliable gas oil furnace.
