I’ve lived in this village for various years, & seen various strange people transfer in & out, and some seem to not want to live in a arena with various youngsters, while others are looking for such a community.
It’s regularly the empty nesters who sell & choose to live in sites with a quieter environment, but they often sell to new families starting out & they have a kid or multiple, & want a family home.
The two of us live in a great area, & the school district is a single of the best in the state. So, families are regularly looking for houses for sale so they can transfer in, but last week, the house that’s various houses from ours sold & a family with 2 small youngsters moved in. I know this as the house with the noisy A/C that an old couple were living in. They were the sweetest people, however there regularly seemed to be an issue with their AC. It made this loud noise that we could hear from our home office. Several times we saw the Heating & A/C van outside & thought they were getting it fixed; But, it seems they chose to sell the house instead. That is when the noisy A/C stopped. The new neighbors called in an Heating & A/C professional to inspect the equipment & she told them it was better to update it. Come to find out this A/C was more than a decade & a half old & on its last leg. That explained why it was regularly noisy & it seems repairs did nothing to repair the noise.
