It’s a rough time having to pay for all these repairs on my house.
We had a pretty nasty hurricane last Autumn but destroyed rooftops all over the city. Unfortunately we all had to wait in line to get our roofs fixed which meant we had to have blue tarps up there secured to prevent the wind from blowing them away. We had a tropical storm about 2 weeks after the hurricane hit and that brought more water into the broken rooftops including my own. I’m really frustrated with all of this destruction. However, I should just be happy that my home is still standing. There’s a lot of communities south of here that had so much destruction from the storm they don’t even have a house to go home to. How are you supposed to start over again like that? You’ve got nothing whatsoever left over in your life. Another thing I had to get fixed was my compact HVAC unit. It’s connected to my roof and it suffered some pretty considerable damage from the storm. I asked the heating and cooling company and they told me I would have to wait a few weeks bare minimum to get the repairs. Unfortunately, it has been five weeks after they said it would be a digital 3 weeks. I don’t know when I’m going to get my HVAC system repaired. I can’t keep going without heating and cooling from my house. But I know I’m not the only person that’s going without a heating and cooling system right now. I need to just be patient and wait for the HVAC company to get to me.
