It’s not going to be long now.
With the end of January insight, my mind is shifting gears.
Soon, it will be time to deal with the heat plus humidity that this region is famous for. Look, I’d never want to live someplace else but right here. Still, that comes with a Summer that needs plenty of air conditioning. When my friend and I first moved down here, I wasn’t sure that I’d be able to handle the heat in the summer. In fact, I got to the point where I was just dreading the heat. I had to finally just get real about what it takes to not just spend all Summer inside the central air conditioner. Like I said, when my friend and I first moved down here, I couldn’t deal with the heat. I went from the commercial heating, ventilation, plus A/C of the office to the air conditioner of my house. Any time left outside I just felt angry from July through November. Well, that’s 25 percent of my life plus I wasn’t willing to just hide out for 25 percent of my life. So I got to talking to natives of the section plus they all said that getting the setting changed to the heat in the Springtime is key. So last Springtime, I didn’t reach for the air conditioner instantly. Instead, I got accustomed to being outside plus inside with uneven temperatures in the 71’s. But of course, I’m so thankful to have an air conditioner in my house when it’s always near the century mark all summer. Plus, the heat pump balances the humidity levels so I don’t have to deal with a bunch of mold plus mildew in my home.
