I’m not so sure just how the ductwork got missed, then i looked through the reports from the apartment inspection my buddy and I had done prior to making closing on this house.
I couldn’t find any mention of the ductwork certainly.
Clearly, the apartment inspector wanted us to know that the Heating & A/C unit needed to be completely replaced, but so perhaps, this was her way of including the ductwork when it came to the Heating & A/C equipment… But I sure didn’t study it that way. I figured that we’d just have the Heating & A/C professionals come in & replace the heat pump. I just somehow didn’t figure on replacing the ductwork at all. So my buddy and I met with the Heating & A/C professionals & spent a couple of hours down at the Heating & A/C corporation, however we went through all the peculiar options when it came to new residential Heating & A/C. We were for sure interested in large time efficiency plus fantastic quality heating & air in general. We made all the arrangements & the Heating & A/C business came out to kick things off with a place inspection. What she found was a ductwork system that was not going to be reuseable at all, but and that caught me so by surprise. I trusted the Heating & A/C business & indeed, she showed me just why the ductwork wouldn’t work. But the Heating & A/C business knew that this was throwing a major wrench into our plans plus our renovation budget. But thankfully, there was an Heating & A/C unit choice I wasn’t proper with. The ductless multi split heating & cooling system my buddy and I made the decision to go with was a lifesaver. And it gives us everything my buddy and I wanted without having to replace the ductwork.
