I needed my own space & in the worst way, however for sure, I cherish my family & they are my absolute main priority in life.
They are the reason I spend so much time inside the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning of the office earning a living. And I wouldn’t have it any other way… However,I’m also the sort of woman that needs to be quiet in order to balance my emotions & my thoughts. I work in a pretty high pressure situation where there can often be quite a bit of confrontation. That’s part of the job & it’s part of the job that I undoubtedly don’t like. I am not exactly a confrontational woman so it takes a lot out of me when I have to lean into that side of the business. When I come house & walk inside the central air conditioning of my house to people yelling at each other, it’s not so great! Our youngsters are now at the age where they are consistently into each other about something. Whether it’s the thermostat setting or who wore whose sweater, there is consistently a high volume conversation going on. And it just gets to be too much. My wife pretty much took over the office that my buddy and I were supposed to share. It’s now sort of her activity center & her place to get away. So I ended up searching for a space of my own. I found it in the finished attic. I don’t know why the previous owner finished the attic with walls & a plywood floor. But it’s now my quiet space. And after the Heating & Air Conditioning professional installed a ductless heat pump, it’s a super comfortable quiet space. This ductless heat pump provides amazing air conditioning & I barely have seen a blip on our utility bill.
