I’m one lady away from the perfect life here on the Spanish coast. I had a good relationship up until a year and a half ago, or what I thought was a good one, and since then I have been on my own. I think I needed time to heal and find myself again after the five year relationship ended and I am just starting to feel like my old self once again. My ex had severe OCD and it became really difficult to live with her, especially when it came to cleaning the flat all the time. The HEPA filter would be cleaned three times a week to help with her dust allergies and that was just a tip of the iceberg. I don’t want to go into details on everything but when she started counting the hairs that she was losing each day it was time to draw the line. The HVAC system was always a battle because I wanted the air con on when it got hot but she didn’t want to run it unless the indoor air temp was above 85F. I work all day for the local contractor and coming home to someone sleeping in the living room was just a bit too much for me. I have my own faults too and maybe it was just better we went our separate ways in the end.
