Six months ago, my brother and I got into a horrible argument that almost ended in violence.
My brother and I almost came to blows before he walked out, and I hadn’t talked to him since.
I felt awful for the things I had said, but he made me irritated. I wanted him back in my life, but I didn’t know how to approach him. I was talking to my wife about my regrets over the fight, and she told me to just apologize to him. Even if it meant sending him a card for his birthday, just to let him know I was still thinking about him and that I cared. When I didn’t make the overture, my wife decided she had to. She called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C dealer she worked in and told them my brother and I had an issue with our furnace, and the media air cleaner wasn’t working well. They assigned a Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman to us, despite the fact that she asked for my brother. I didn’t know my partner and I had problems with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, so when I saw the repair van in the driveway, I was shocked. I was shocked when I saw my brother in the basement. Within five minutes my brother and I were talking and laughing like nothing had happened. I took a deep breath, and apologized for everything I had said, and he also apologized. He looked at me and said all I had to do was call and make up that something was wrong with the furnace. I smiled, knowing my wife brought us back together. I had to make sure to take her out to dinner, or maybe my brother and I could all go out for dinner as a foursome.
