I have one of those most up-to-date plus honestly modern smart thermostats in my condo for my central heating plus cooling system unit. I have had this smart thermostat almost 6 months or so now. And the other afternoon I noticed a major issue with the smart thermostat. The timer that you program for it go on plus off at a particular time was off by about 10 minutes. This was a problem plus not normal. I knew at this point I had to do one of 2 things. The first would be to just cut my losses plus go out to buy a brand up-to-date smart thermostat. The other would be to call the local heating plus cooling system contractor to send out a certified heat plus a/c specialist to maintenance the timer plus programmer of the smart thermostat that goes with my central heating plus cooling system unit. I decided to call the local heating plus cooling system contractor first to see how much they would charge to come out plus try to maintenance whatever was going on with my smart thermostat. And after them quoting the price I had just gave up plus decided that it would be way cheaper to just go out to the store plus buy a brand up-to-date smart thermostat plus then bring it condo plus reinstall it myself. This would save me hundreds of dollars compared to what the local heating plus cooling system contractor wanted to come out plus maintenance my smart thermostat’s programmer. It just was not worth it.
