I thought the new Ventilation pro was joking when he introduced himself.
He was new to me, & I didn’t remember seeing him around.
I asked him if the guy had just recently moved in? When he said he was from Mars, I didn’t know what to say. I invited him in & showed him where the a/c system was. It didn’t take him long to get to labor & get the a/c component repaired. I was giggling when he came inside & asked if he was serious about moving here from Mars, & he said sure. I could not imagine why Martians would come out with that kind of news. I paid him & could not wait for him to leave. When my hubby Jim got home, I was in a tizzy. I told Jim our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professional told me he had just come from Mars. Jim didn’t think there was anything wrong with this, & he shrugged & walked away. My mind was pulled in many unusual instructions, I didn’t know what to do. I called my best neighbor & asked if she had met the new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C pro? She admitted she had & said there was something weird about him, although she believed it was because he was new in town. When I told her he told me he was from the planet Mars, she blew it off. I was laughing at myself when I realized Mars was a town in Pennsylvania. I felt beyond stupid, & I was ashamed to tell Jim I thought the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C pro came from the planet Mars.
