My partner wanted to go home.

My partner & I got married about two years ago, & this was his first summer time living in southern US.

My buddy and I were only three weeks into the season, when my partner told me he wanted to go home. He told me he was sure I would get use to the colder winters, & they had excellent boilers up north. I tried to convince him that he would get used to the heat, although he never did. By the end of summer, he was pleading with me to please transport back apartment with him. He told me they had air conditioner & heating up north, & the boiler was so good that unless I had to go out for something necessary, I would not even know how cold it was outside. My mother had already warned me that this could be a problem for us. He lived in the northern most part of the United States, & I lived in the southernmost part of the United States. My buddy and I had met anywhere in the middle when my associate and I were going to school. I felt guilty, convincing him to transport south so I could be closer to my parents, & he felt guilty trying to convince me that it would be better for him to transport north. He wasn’t upset to be closer to his parents, although he enjoyed the weather. He kept telling me how much fun it was to go skiing & ice-skating. He talked about the polar plunges they would take on New Year’s day. Although I was skeptical about moving up north, Imy marriage was more pressing to me than fearing the cold, & worrying about the lack of heating.
