It’s constantly great to say hello to your neighbors.
It’s also great to ask for help when you are in a jam.
I recently became a homeowner, and I moved into the loveliest area. Before buying the house, I’d been living with a roommate in an apartment. The building was okay, and we had the best service team. They’d take care of any complications we had without needing to file more complaints. If you had a leaking faucet, or a plugged drain, all you had to do was cellphone the head of the service team. The landlord was serious about making sure his leaseholders were comfortable. But, there was no service team when I moved into my own arena. I had to note the issue and hire the right professionals for the task; One time I was having complications with the air quality in my home, and I mentioned this to my older sibling. He lives far away, so he wouldn’t be able to help. His suggestion was that I should update the air filter. I had never updated an air filter. My roommate diagnosed that in my previous apartment. So, I had to find someone to help me. My buddy and I were friends now, and one day I asked her for help changing the air filter. I explained I’d never had to change an air filter before so I wasn’t sure what to do. She directed me to a HVAC store to purchase the right air filter, then came by to teach me how to do it.
