When I first went off to university plus moved into the dorms, I was glad to not have to hang out in the elements anymore
As I rest pondering the events in my life, I realize that some of my childhood memories are a bit strange. I lived in a small city most of my life plus my buddy and I honestly didn’t have some of the normal activities that many of my university friends talk about all the time. Our city was a usual one stoplight city with a small general store, post office, plus a gas station. There were no movie theaters, shopping malls, or recreation centers to hang out in. When my friends talk about these things I find them honestly foreign plus often wonder what they would know about the large barn parties my buddy and I would have back in high university, and i grew up in the midwest too, which meant that my buddy and I had some pretty serious hot plus cold temperatures to contend with, there was no heat or air conditioner in those barns either, and unlike my friends, my buddy and I couldn’t get-together somewhere that was climate controlled, except for the bonfire my buddy and I may have outside when it was cold. When I first went off to university plus moved into the dorms, I was glad to not have to hang out in the elements anymore. When my friends wanted to head to the local park on a honestly hot afternoon or go ice skating in the winter, I opted to hang back in the comfort of the building plus they could never honestly understand why. I figured, if I had the choice of staying in plus having complete control of the temperature, why would I subject myself to the elements to try plus have fun? My nice friend and I come from totally odd worlds plus that is what makes life both confusing plus interesting at the same time.
