I’m so blissful to exist in this stage of history.
I can’t even imagine living in an earlier generation, where you couldn’t pull up your cellphone to ask a random medical question, track down your friends in real time with GPS, or check your weather conditions at property from hundreds of miles away, however all of these advancements actually make life easier plus so much more informative… However, there are some major disadvantages with how technologically linked our lives are these afternoons.
It turns out that when one technology is highly reliant on another, it actually can bring the whole system down. This is exactly what happened yesterday when a large storm blew through plus disrupted our control unit programming at home! You see, my wonderful friend and I recently had a smart control unit installed with our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C program, plus my wonderful friend and I didn’t exactly know how it operated yet. It was working fine, supplying us with fresh plus cool air inside, despite the heavy, tepid plus humid air outside. As this large storm blew through, my wonderful friend and I suffered a power outage plus suddenly the AC stopped. As the power flickered back on, my wonderful friend and I realized that the current smart control unit had gone offline; it was no longer connected to the property wireless or the AC unit, my friend and I decided that the only way to reconnect the temperature control panel with the air handling device was to use the app. However, when my wonderful friend and I attempted to access the smart control unit application, my wonderful friend and I realized that it wasn’t working either. The storm had knocked down a cable line, leaving us without working wireless. My friend and I couldn’t access the app, locate a wireless signal, or connect our control unit to the a/c manually. In the end, my wonderful friend and I were stranded without any indoor temperature control for three afternoons thanks to new technology.
