So our goal this summer time is to get into a rotation at four or five clubs & do two or three paid shows a week.
My friend and I are getting some cards made with our band name & website & are going to hand them out to all of the clubs in neighborhood & in the nearby towns.
My friend and I figure if my pal and I get 500 cards to 500 clubs over the next few months that my pal and I will get a few hits & be doing paid shows in clubs on a official basis. My friend and I are going to try the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier too because they like our tunes & I suppose they want to have us do a gig for all of the cooling techs coming for a sizable convention next month. I would like to make $500 a month doing tunes shows & then I can split back a bit on my work at my official job, which is my long term plan in the end. I would like to quit my Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist job in a year or two & be doing tunes all the time, as it is so fun & gets me out in the mix instead of sitting in my flat staring at my cat. I have a nice media air cleaner in my flat & the air quality is truly great in my town, but I want to get out more & around people because I tend to be a loner & it can get quite lonely. I will contact my bandmate now & get going on these cards to make our dreams happen.
