Today is shopping day and I am going to load up basically on cat food, cat litter, and kefir.
That is pretty much all I need to hold me over for the next week or so and to keep my cats happy and quiet.
I use this silica gel cat litter, which you only need to clean once every two weeks with two cats, and it makes for an easy time when it comes to the litter box. If you have one cat the litter is supposed to last for a month, but my two cats half that equation. Heating and cooling are not needed right now in the middle of May, which is great because my power bills have been really low now for the past few months and should stay that way for another month before it is time to employ my air con system once again. I can live in this flat for about $700 a month total, which is a pretty good deal considering it is a new flat and is located really close to the sea. I was paying about $550 four years ago and that was for a flat without any climate control. The flat was also really old and quite dirty, so paying 200 more a month this many years later is still a pretty low cost for living in a nice place. I like having a central HVAC system because I don’t have to tote a small space heater from room to room in the winter time to stay warm. Life is pretty darn good over here.
