My back is cooling down now with some cold gel to try and stop the pain, which should be gone soon after heating it up with a warm water bottle
It is high noon and I just got off the cellphone with my friend Matt who is talking about moving here overseas with me to live in the small beach neighborhood where I am now. He makes podcasts and interviews people and wants to escape the mad hustle and bustle of the States so he can focus on his craft and not have to stress so much about making a living. It is much cheaper living here, and if you are working for an American company like I am, you don’t have to put in the crazy hours. My Heating and Air Conditioning supplier boss has me working just 15 hours a week at the store, which is enough to support me each month here with even a few hundred bucks left over to drop in the bank. I don’t have to spend any time stuck in rush hour traffic like I used to back in the USA and that also goes towards more time to put into my craft. I do some smart thermostat programming for the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier each afternoon and then by the time 4pm comes I am free to do as I please. Tonight we will have a little volleyball party for my buddy’s anniversary and maybe play a few matches.
