It’s been a long time since I attended a parents meeting at any of my children’s schools.
This time round my youngest son had a play that he bagged me to attend and I was committed to; I arrived earlier than most parents as I wanted to get the front seat.
I could see how happy my little one was to see me and he came out happy and eager to impress me. The play was perfect for their age and their costumes make them rest out! One thing that I loved about the hall my friend and I were in was how perfectly air conditioned it was. I was not sure if there was an a/c installed since it was surprisingly quiet too. I had attended similar meetings before and the situation was different. If the heat was not overwhelming, the hall had a loud A/C that you had to strain to hear the kids performing. I remember thinking to myself how well the school was doing, however apparently I was not the only parent who realized this. The man kneeling next to me in the hall also noted how much of an improvement the school had made since the last event… My buddy and I could not help however wonder what kind of A/C they used to ensure the room was that perfect for everyone. I asked the school secretary if he knew the type of a/c the school had installed, and while he was not sure the exact brand, it turns out that the school had invested in a new Heating as well as Air Conditioning system.
