I took the A/C repair van to the weigh station.

He asked me if I knew my driver’s license was expired? He also said that the registration for the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repair van had also expired.

I had never known there to be an open weigh station on the stretch of highway I was riding. It startled me when I saw the sign that said all vans & trucks must go into the weigh station. I knew that it was really stupid for me to pull in, however I was obeying the law. When I got up on the truck scales, the police officer inside told me to pull over. I pulled away from the truck scales, expecting to get a ticket, however not knowing why for sure. He came up to the door & asked for my license & the registration to the repair van. I told him I was working for the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company & the repair van was registered to the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company I worked for. He nodded & said he knew that. He asked me if I knew my driver’s license was expired? He also said that the registration for the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repair van had also expired. I thought he was kidding because he found it funny that I would pull a repair van into the weigh station unless I was there to labor on a broken truck. As far as I knew, I was heading to a house to labor on an a/c unit. He told me to replace my license & registration & make sure the new information was reported back to the address & cellphone number on the warning. I called my boss as soon as I got to the client house, & told him he needed to get the van registration taken care of on the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repair vehicle because I had just acquired a warning.
