Whenever my sister goes on family vacation, they choose the same destination each time.
However, for the last few years, they ditched the resort in favor of vacation rentals in the same locality.
It’s still the same beach and all the superb stuff they enjoyed could be found here. What changed was the accommodations they went for as they gave them a better deal. The vacation rental came with zone controlled Heating and cooling. My sister and her husband enjoyed having their own temperature control. It was like a dream and this was ideal for vacation homes but they planned to steal the idea. That’s all changed now that they included the same features in their home. Their girls shared a room so this would work best. The two were interested in adding value to their home to increase its market price. They not only vaulted the ceilings, but also built a deck and a magnificent bathroom. They also added temperature control in their room. The current additions have been a ductless heat pump that gives quality heating as well as clean air in the bedrooms. They have a remote control system so my sister and her husband can always change the temperature settings from bed! Talk about living the life you craft for yourself. Their two girls now have their own rooms which makes the home more peaceful for them all. Their parents have their own private getaway space and never have to take a vacation to enjoy a good HVAC system since they had made the necessary adjustment to bring that closer home.
