I am genuinely gleeful to be heading to the state park for a fishing trip in two weeks. It has been a genuinely taxing summer time & I legitimately need to get away. The idea of sitting by the water with a fishing pole in hand, soaking up the sun, & enjoying the view, seems like perfection to me. My buddy and I are going with my wife’s uncle & uncle for a three day trip. The only thing I am upset about is the weather. The long range forecast is calling for sun & mid 69’s during the day however mid 50’s at night. The cottage my associate and I are renting has no heat other than the fireplace. I am used to my Heating & A/C system that keeps me cool or warm depending on the weather. I recognize I am spoiled in that I can control my home’s temperatures with the push of a button. My buddy and I even have Smart Thermostats which means that my associate and I can change the temperature while my associate and I are away with our PCs. Being addicted to technology makes it taxing to imagine trying to keep the fire going through the night to stay warm. Although I am greatly looking forward to spending time with my wife in the quiet surroundings. I am worried about the other parts of the trip. I will make the best of it I am sure as my associate and I do not get this option to escape genuinely often. Hoping to catch some fish & at least be able to have a fresh fish breakfast one of the days, and that is always a treat.
