Re-acclimating to my outdated home.

Growing up in the Northeast I could not wait to get away from it, and when I left after university & moved to the Southwest I never thought I would return, but of course that was 30 years ago & a lot has changed since then.

When my parents, you are quite elderly had to transport into an assisted living facility I knew I needed to be closer to them to help out, then my children were grown & I divorced years ago so I entirely had no reason to stay in my new location anyway, however i was able to transfer to an office closer to where my parents live & I packed up last summer time to transport back home. I moved into my parents household so my living arrangements we are all set, however, on a personal level I had to make some drastic adjustments to re-actemperature myself to the colder temperature. One of the first things I did was head out to purchase some warmer clothing because I had not owned a winter coat in years. I had some cash available from selling my household at my prior location so I made some adjustments to my parents household as well. I instantly updated the outdated Heating & Air Conditioning system, that was nearly 30 years outdated with a newer & more efficient one. I had the household re-insulated to save cash on energy cost & added an Heating & Air Conditioning component to the detached garage so I wouldn’t have to deal with a cold-frigid car each afternoon. It is just the start of fall & already my friend and I have cooler mornings so I know I will greatly appreciate all of these fluctuations once the full force of winter arrives.
