Tonight all of us take the hour train ride into the larger neighborhood to do a set at a rock n roll open mic. This is basically our first rock n roll open mic as I was doing comedy for multiple years however have since switched to rock n roll. I’ve been drumming for a few years on and off, however now I’m taking it a bit more seriously and trying to make it a job. Both of us will practice at this open mic and try out some of our outdated music and maybe a few current ones too. I guess the local company which has the open mic is the same one I used to do comedy shows in, so at least the air conditioned place is going to be the same, however maybe I’ll see some regular faces there from days of old, although I won’t believe till all of us arrive as it has been years since going to that city. I was toiling at a heating corp there years ago however after that I moved to this smaller neighborhood where I live now to get away from all of the neighborhood noise and pollution. I work here for a local business doing some heating and cooling component repairs and service calls for their clients. I like the work as it allows me to use our hands and work around other people, and it also makes me believe fantastic when I fix an Heating in addition to Air Conditioning plan concern for a customer. I guess I will keep toiling there while the rock n roll job grows and just keep doing what I am doing for a while.
