Ex has ridiculous visitation stipulations

She has decided that we must have heating and cooling equipment that’s less than 3 years old, under manufacturer warranty, and explicit routine service records from a reputable HVAC dealership.

My boyfriend has quite a past, and I can’t lie about how intimidating it can be. While I’ve lived most of my life as a single woman, he’s pretty much always been in serious relationships. In fact, he has been married before and has a son with his ex. Obviously this is a huge part of his life, and therefore has become a crucial part of mine, as well. I consider his son to be my own, and I love getting to spend time with the little guy. The only thing is, his mom is a total nightmare. She makes it very difficult to see him, let alone spend quality time together. Currently, she is fighting a legal battle to prevent our 60 day summer visit. She has come up with every hurdle possible, including demands for his bedroom setup, our dog’s health records, and even reports on our home ventilation plan. She suddenly insists that there are qualifications for our indoor air temperature control system, and has begun threatening to refuse visitation if we don’t supply purchase and service records for all of our HVAC equipment. She has decided that we must have heating and cooling equipment that’s less than 3 years old, under manufacturer warranty, and explicit routine service records from a reputable HVAC dealership. Further, she has gone on to insist that now we need to invest in an industrial grade air purification system. Despite the fact that this air handling equipment costs over $3000, she thinks it’s a reasonable provision. She has no legal grounds for these ventilation demands, but we sure have learned a lot about HVAC systems since hearing her continual assertions.
