Life can take you venues you never would have guessed. Twenty years ago if you told me I would be a drummer & singer in a band in Spain I would have thought you had the wrong lady. Back after that my friend and I was running my painting supplier thinking there was no end in sight, however how life can turn on a dime & change the storyline completely. I broke up with an ex & was really depressed living in the States eight years ago so I decided to transport overseas & ended up quitting my comedy career to pursue songs. Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment repairs substituted my painting supplier task & now I am over here working on space boilers & things like that & playing songs in a band. We have made about 25 songs so far & uploaded them online for our growing fan base, which is growing honestly slowly because I am not into the online promoting game like so multiple others. I would rather repair an air cleaner than lay online trying to get more followers, which is why my friend and I have only 45 followers however I feel that is going to change over the next few months as my friend and I trim back hours at the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business & split our first album. I just saw a new album by Pearl Jam & they inspire me to keep pushing because I am still younger than the lead singer by three years. I was living with her uncle Freddie at one point when I was a local company in the States doing heating & cooling labor in town.

Soon, I may be regretting selling the family dwelling and moving down here to the land of the heat pump. This is my first full Summer down here and I’m a bit scared. It’s May and there are afternoons where the heat and humidity feel like the worst that the weather could supply back home. And again, it’s just May, but like the folks around here are out soaking up every moment of being outside while they can. Soon, the heat and humidity level will be such that there’s more time spent inside the central air conditioner for sure. I understand that it gets so hot that going to play golf while in the peak heating hours of the day is a death wish for a fat guy like me. So we’ll have to see if indeed moving down here was the right call. But it’s not like we’re going dwelling because my friend and I sold that home. It was our family dwelling for just shy of 32 years… My buddy and I lucked out and got to retire almost a decade early so having a great, large dwelling made zero sense. The realtor was a close friend and my friend and I just followed the list of projects my friend and I needed to get done in order to garner a good price. First on the list was replacing the old Heating and Air Conditioning equipment. Thanks to 3 decades of Heating and Air Conditioning repair twice a year, my friend and I were on the original residential Heating and Air Conditioning that came with the house. The new residential Heating and Air Conditioning was quite something though. I couldn’t feel the evolution in Heating and Air Conditioning technology.

I’m still sort of in awe that, for once, I’m easily ready to roll into Summer with the least bit of confidence that I won’t get killed on cooling costs. Of course, I’ll still have to be constantly disciplined when it comes to the temperature control setting. But I don’t feel that will be a problem.
