My brother started enjoying a show about tiny houses and cheap living and he decided to buy a tiny house, which I thought was a crazy idea! Tiny houses don’t have a lot of space and they have to be moved from locale to locale unless you find a piece of property, as not all communities and residential areas will allow a tiny house in the town.

It’s important to check all of the rules and regulations first, and when my brother bought the tiny house it needed a lot of work.

It was mostly just a shell, and my brother had to figure out what to do with the rest. He had a lot of undoubtedly superb ideas, despite the fact that he needed a business to implement a lot of them. The only thing I could help my brother with was the Heating and A/C system. I knew that the tiny house would require a special Heating and A/C device and I believed that a ductless mini split system would work best. A ductless mini split system has a single condenser outside and an air handler inside, and there is no need for an air duct or extra space. The ductless mini split system can be located somewhere inside of the property, and so my brother decided to put the Heating and A/C device under the bed by the living room. Cool air from the cooling system chills the space where my brother is sleeping and it also works well in the living room too. The cooling system does not get in the way of the rest of the appliances and my brother has a little bit of room to move from one locale to the next.

Back before I knew any better, I used to settle for just any old heating and a/c dealer.

Well, that is not absolutely true, as I just cared about pricing alone. When I first owned a home, I looked for the cheapest Heating and A/C supplier around. I mean, sure, I checked the reviews just to make sure that they were decent, but I should have looked deeper, because it turned out that doing business with this Heating and A/C supplier wasn’t absolutely worth it. For one thing, the Heating and A/C specialist was very late to the appointments that I scheduled. A Heating and A/C woman was so late one time that I had to end up canceling, however the supplier was up in arms when it was inconvenient to them! At least that is how they made me feel when the Heating and A/C specialist who was supposed to come out,and was on her way at the time I called to cancel, but she came across in her texts to me as a bit rude and short. Come to think of it, that was a wonderful way to describe all the Heating and A/C specialists that I interacted with from this dealer. They didn’t absolutely seem interested in listening to me tell them about my Heating and A/C troubles and what I wanted done. They just seemed to think that they knew what was wrong and what they needed to do without any of my input. They did not even try to maintain the illusion of caring about the customer’s input. Well, that is what ultimately drove me to seek out a better Heating and A/C supplier, and I am much happier with the people I work with this time, despite the fact that they charge a little more. It’s worth it for the quality buyer service and care!

About a year ago I decided to leave the home life to own my own property.

I have simple tastes and because I live alone, except for my little pet, I know I don’t need much space.

However, I was tired of the close proximity of other leaseholders with all the noise and commotion they were making. I just wanted my own little plot of land. I ended up deciding on buying a small plot and getting a single wide trailer. I felt that it was all I would absolutely need and without a home payment and a minimal amount of utility bills, I would be free enough financially to take all sorts of holidays and just live comfortably and with less stress than if I decided to get a mortgage on a more expensive home. It ended up costing me about 75,000 dollars, 12,000 dollars of which I was able to pay up front. My mortgage is absolutely low now and I’m blissful, but the one thing that puzzled me the most about my new place was how it would be heated and cooled. That turned out to be absolutely simple. The best option for me was a mini split heat pump Heating and A/C system. Mini split systems are absolutely small and easy to install and simple in nature, as there is a small indoor component attached to an outdoor component. I ended up installing two mini split heat pumps, which together managed to heat and cool my mobile home absolutely well indeed.

I was absolutely fortunate last evening, as shortly before leaving work I looked out the window of my office and saw black clouds rolling in the distance.

I saw a distant flash of lightning and knew that my buddy and I were in store for a heavy summer time thunderstorm.

I checked the doppler radar on my iPhone and noted that the rain, wind, and lightning would come to cover my route home before I would be able to make it through rush hour traffic. I said a silent prayer for safe travel as I waited for the remainder of the 32 minutes of my shift to end. By the time I got to my car in the parking garage, I could feel the wind picking up. I was about halfway home when the dark and menacing clouds and lightning and thunder gave way to a torrent of rain. I made it home safely, however just as I was grabbing the leash to take my pet out quickly there was a wonderful flash and a boom and the power was knocked out. I was hoping that the power would be restored before bedtime, because I didn’t know I was going to be able to sleep without the benefit of a/c and my fans blowing in my room. I simply cannot sleep well at all when I don’t have a cool bedroom and the noise of a fan blowing. That’s how desperately I rely on a/c and white noise. Well, the hours went by and I was settling into bed with the lights not yet being restored. I resigned myself to sleeping without an air conditioner or a fan when abruptly I heard a rumble of thunder. I checked the weather to see that a second wave of rainy weather was coming that would last through the vast majority of the evening! I was fortunate because I was going to get the lullaby of the rain falling outside with distant rumbles of thunder. I was also going to get the benefit of the cool breeze blowing, because I opted to leave my window up. This was, of course, the next best thing to a/c.
